I had three, 3 and under. It's hard but awesome too. My oldest is almost 6 years older than the 2nd born and that is WAY TOO much space. Now that my youngest is 6, it's a breeze and all three littles play together. I'd honestly rather have them all close together than a large space.

But still. She was adopted at birth, so mom had to raise both of us at the exact same time. And we ARE Irish, so I guess it works.

wow... since they are 10 months apart, she got pregnant pretty soon after birth, that's amazing. but, i'm the weird one, i already want another one... and i have wanted another since ellis was born 6 months ago. damon has said no before, but i'm hoping to be pregnant in the next couple of months- i want my kids close together, i know it's super hard, but i think it would be great when they are a little older... maybe i just got too lucky with a really good first baby...

That's funny that you should write this, because I had never heard of an age difference so small until a month ago. A new American family moved here, and their girls are 9 1/2 months apart! I was so shocked that I said, "What? You aren't even supposed to be doing anything that early!?" To which the mom (who is awesome) casually replied, "What can I say? I'm a freak." So, I guess that's a good attitude to have--owning it! And she was nursing, too, which sucks. Pray that your period stays away for at least a few months after birth!

I just had a baby on Aug.11. There's NO WAY I'm in the mood for any sort of lovin' just yet. Heck, it might be a few months and I'm ok with that. The tiredness just takes over. I can't IMAGINE having kids that close together! I'd for sure do lots of crying. LOL I plan for kid #2 to show up just before kid #1 is 2. We'll see how that works out.

On another note- so glad you love your job. I think it would be really fun to work at a baby store. You get to see all kinds of cute kiddos come thru there I bet! :)

I hate to say it, but I am that mother. My youngest son's birthday is 2 weeks before his older sisters...I got prego when my daughter was just 3 months old. I am a big SIGHER at stores as well. In all fairness, they are really the best of friends and they will be out of my house around the same time. So, there are pluses. :)Oh, and I have a daughter who is 5 1/2.
