Probably Robert Pattison.
But also me!
I'm kind of excited, and also kind of ashamed. So if you're thinking about stopping by, call first.
No, don't call the health department! Call me, so I don't answer the door naked.
(unless you're into that)
I don't exactly have a lot of things on my to-do list today. I just finished it. Here, I'll show you:
Being laid off is awesome.
(Someone hire me?)

WOW you are brave--I can't just do that. Dance Party sounds FUN!! I rock-out to Justin Bieber with my girls all the time :)
haha! Love the stick figure covering up!
Enjoy your dance party! I'm planning on having one with my daughter's when I get home.
Dance party, yes.
Eating something, I still need to do.....10:18am...golly.
Wait.
Shower.
LOL
I'm entirely jealous of the first item on that list. I could have slept all day today.
Good luck with your job search (just as soon as you've had your fill of sleeping and dancing).
So, I'm totally stalking your page today, watching to see the new heads that pop up in your follower box. I love it.
Thank you for your post! :)
New follower via Shell. I was hooked by your stick drawings! :)
There are some advantages to being unemployed...I personally would enjoy the sleeping in, for a while. The not getting a paycheck is definitely the downside.
Hope you find something soon...and while you are awaiting, enjoy your time...as it looks like you will! :)
I think you should starting whoring yourself out so you can pay for NKOTBSB concert tickets.
I'm so jealous of your day! Especially the dance party - but mine would involve Hanson!
You are fabulous! I came over from Shell's place and I must say that I think I love you. I plan to read your blog everyday, well everyday that I open my reader.
(Sorry, I sometimes come on pretty strong)
Congrats on your BFF feature!
Oh and I am from West Michigan too. Actually, I am living here right now.
In 2009 when my husband was laid off he didn't shower and golfed for like 4 days. I guess it's what he needed to figure out his next move.
The golfing I was ok with, but come on unless your water is metered get in the damn shower. :)
Renegades- Yes maam!
Following you from Shell's blog. LOVED your guest post, and wishing you all the best in your job search. No reason not to DANCE PARTY in the meantime ...
Hahaha, that stick figure is awesome! Sorry about your job, especially the part about working the last month and not being paid for it- that totally stinks.
Loved your guest post over at Shell's!
Twitter stalker, sometimes commenter:
love, love, love that picture! the covered up stick figure with the face of "uh-oh, who's at my door, I'm naked" is full of WIN.
Looks like a pretty good list, except the get a job part. Sorry you were laid off, but you might find it to be the most relaxing position ever!
I'm in love with your stick figures.
um, are you showering for Kurt or rinsing out a dish for him?
Because either is an option in our house depending on how my day went.
New follower from Shell's (hi!)
I'm gonna have a dance party too! It's Friday, right?!
this is my life every day. if somebody knocks on the door (um, mailman, occasional VTer) i have to haul ass to the bedroom and throw something on and then hide my plate and laptop and turn off the tv and start running stuff in the kitchen to act like i was doing something. right now i'm listening to dave ramsey online and painting canvases. there's a soap on mute on the tv, just for the friendly faces.
I'm jealous that you get to sleep in... but I already had a dance party today... so I WIN!
It did not involve and boy band music, but for five whole minutes, I transported myself into the movie Flashdance.
Fantabulous blog.
Wow! Love the list! I'm totally rethinking having been fired. I'm planning a dance party immediately!
Ow ow!
Hey there. I read your post on Shell's site and had to visit. I'm sooooooo psyched I did. You're cracking me up. I'm so sorry about the job. Not only did your post on Shell's site really give me the pep talk I needed today on blogging, but then I came over here and see you're in a boat I'm about to board. It looks like my job is going to go *poof* and they're dragging it out over the Christmas holidays. Hang in there. As I keep telling myself, a kick in the butt is a step forward. At least it makes me laugh. Sometimes.
Found you via Shell's site (which I found moments ago via a Tweet). I think we share a similar sense of humour. Or that's what I'd think if I did think.
A formatting question: what do you use to make those cool checklists?
Glad I found your blog!
A dance party sounds fun! Only if you play a little "bye bye bye!"
Just came over from Shell! You gave me my first good laugh of the day when I stopped over!! Thank you :)
Awesome that you're blogging in the buff--you go, girl!
I love a good dance party. Make sure to throw in some BSB in there, too :p
Oh, and enjoy unemployment as long as you can. 'Cause working full time kind of blows the big one :)
I have been having a very bad week and reading your guest post made me LOL. A much needed laugh. You are one funny woman! So glad to have met you through Shell. I'm looking forward to following!
Seriously, I'm so glad I found you on Shell's blog today. I can't believe I've never been here before. I'm just going to come out and say it...I think I love you...for real.
Lots of yummy love,

haha just found your blog, guessed i missed it the million times i saw it on face book. (yeah remember me? Jess Stell) I just spent pretty much my whole work day reading it. Dang girl you crack me up! :) yes i deleted my first post because i swore that i worked at platinum before i was married no no i did not it was all after i was married and with child
You should watch that kids' show Yo Gabba Gabba. I have a feeling you'll love it. ;)
I rock the N*SYNC and Britney Spears when me and my son have dance party.
Awesome.
Found you via Shell.
Sorry about unemployment but glad you found your lemon scented silver lining!
Ok, I've been in my skivvies since last October. I know people act like losing your job is the end of the world, but for me it was the beginning of a whole new adventure. Life is too short to sit in a cubicle paying for stuff you never get to enjoy. I don't miss working out "in the world"; I have a home based jewelry business I am trying to develop, I get to go to the gym 5 days a week, my husband and I get to be together every day (he's disabled and unemployed now for two years), I've discovered antique shops that are only open during business hours, and my house has been cleaner longer than just all day Saturday. Enjoy the time as long as you can. One suggestion, however, you may want to put panty hose on at least once a month if you plan on going back "out there" because you don't realize wearing them takes some getting used to until you have to wear them again after one year. TALLY HO!
I say live it up while you can....then get a job :) everyone needs a little extended vacation every once in awhile
Shell sent me over...
Love your blog...not your unemployment...but your use of humor to cope with something so difficult. I look forward to reading along.

UGH...that sucks! fear of the unknown sucks! good luck. Someone once told me that absolutely no feeling or experience last forever...this too shall pass! I hated hearing it at the time; because it sure felt like crap! http://mommetime.com/
Oh God can I ever relate.
LOVE reading your blog!! Good luck with the employment! I know it can be stressful! :(
Sorry about the lay-off, but girl, something better is around the corner. Like a dance party! Woot Woot! And endless possibilities!
Stopping by to say hi from Shell's! I love your post...you crack me up. Enjoy your weekend! :)
GOOD FOR YOU!!! Although you may want to get dressed at some point... unless you are waiting for you husband to get home... but then you might want to shower... I'll stop now...
First time visiting, love your blog and couldn't agree more with your comments about blogging on Shell's site. I am Michigan girl too but am still here. So sorry about your job but glad you are exploring the perks of the whole situation.
Okay, so I know it sucks hard that you are unemployed right now.
But, girl, you are a hilarious funny lady!
Naked blogging. It could be a new sport.
I love your stick figures and your style of writing. Enjoy sleeping in and dancing and keep on posting. Praying you get a job soon but keep dancing life is too short.
Looking forward to your next post and also stalking to see the new followers adding up lol.
Soooo, I was in a horrible pissy can't stop crying mood last night. But, I LOVE seeing your blog grow. Makes me much less pissy.
I'm so sorry Helena!! What a lousy Christmas present. I hope you and Kurt can enjoy the break together, at least there's that?! You're welcome to come hang out with me whenever. Showering isn't high on my list of priorities either. (I blame that on the pregnancy and the 18 month old:O)
Hey that looks like my to-do list! I second the Yo Gabba Gabba recommendation! And maybe an episode or two of Grey's Anatomy where they are "dancin' it out"!
Oh JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake...you've stuck with me through many a Christmas.
I mean, it IS a wonderful feeling. In fact, I feel the love in the room from the floor to the ceiling. Must be that time of year...
Sorry, I went to my happy place.
Helena. bwaaha ha ha ha! You just made my day. Thanks!
I love you. :) (not in any creepy way, just in the normal, greatest friends kind of way)
I stopped reading at the mention of the hobolicious naked R. Pattinson.
Swoon.
Helena! While you're in love with my children and their cuteness {thank you} I'm in love with you and your blog! I would love to know how I knew nothing about you, but all that matters is I do now... and I'm following you so I won't have to miss any awesomeness.
When I got laid off, the first thing I did was to go shopping. Well, I was in midtown Manhattan - the stores were right there!
