Custom Art Giveaway, with Even Endings! (closed)

Hey guys, I am VERY excited to introduce you to a new friend of mine. Her name is Jessica, and she has an Etsy shop called Even Endings.


I found her artwork one day when I was looking up owl-themed things on Etsy. I fell in love with her whimsical style, and immediately knew that I wanted to share her with all of you.

Here is Jessica, in her own words (interspersed with examples of her work, for your viewing pleasure).

I'm Jessica, a full time mom (is there ever such a thing as a part time mom??) to a rambunctious toddler, a photography student, a military wife and the Owner of Even Endings. *whew!* I know what you're thinking... GOOD GOD WOMAN!

I first started this business back in 2008 when I was pregnant with my daughter Chloe. My husband had just reenlisted in the military due to the economy and we didn't have a lot of money. It was decided between the both of us, that I stay at home with our daughter for at least the first year.

 

With only one income, one car, staying at home for 9-12 hours a day with a baby and not having many friends in the area, I HAD to find something to do and maybe make some extra "play" money along the way.

To me, my business is a creative outlet for all of the things within the military lifestyle I can't control. Have you ever heard the saying, "hurry up and wait"? Yeah... Me either until he reenlisted.....DOT DOT DOT.. for someone who is such a list person as myself and needs to know the exact detail of everything related to the subject at hand, telling me to wait? ...... stress.....

I started most of my artwork when my husband deployed this past January. I never thought that this business would be where it's at today, but I must say that I love what I do and I really do put my heart and soul into every piece of artwork.

This deployment has been fairly rough on us as a family and without the support of my husband I wouldn't have been able to do it.

I hope to expand in the near future and do more of these fun giveaways! I hope all of you love the artwork and I can't wait to work with the winner on their custom 8x10 canvas!

Yup, you read that right- Jessica is letting me give away a custom piece of artwork!!

The winner will get a custom 8x10 canvas (it's about the size of a sheet of printer paper.. roughly) and the theme/color options they want. TOTALLY custom.

- And by 'theme' I mean anything like princess, dinosaurs, owls, flowers, rocket ships, etc...(no copyright items).
